Biography

Christina Alejandre joined Turner Sports in March 2016 as General Manager/Vice President of eSports. In her newly created role, she leads the development and strategy for the inaugural season of ELEAGUE, the transformative eSports competitive gaming league that launched in May.

Alejandre is responsible for business operations, content and program strategy for ELEAGUE, as well as the pursuit of new eSports opportunities. She reports directly to Craig Barry, EVP & Chief Content Officer, Turner Sports.

Alejandre has more than 15 years of experience in video games and new media, driving business development for global companies. She most recently served as a consultant for Electronic Sports League (ESL) where she identified and developed the core elements to establish the company’s long-term growth in North America.

Prior to ESL, Alejandre held several high-ranking positions overseeing licensing and partner management, publishing and eSports at Turbine and Warner Bros. Games.  She also previously led business development for 38 Studios and Octopi, following positions working on licensing and product development at Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products.
