Daniel is the Managing Director of Interbrand’s New York and San Francisco offices. He leads a team of over 200 professionals who deliver clarity to strategic challenges, create exceptional customer experiences and build clients internal capabilities. He has 30 years of experience in the branding and communications industry and has worked in seven different countries across four continents during his career. He has lead global teams charged with defining and delivering strategic growth opportunities for a number of Fortune 500 companies including Coca-Cola, Kimberly-Clark, Nissan, Unilever, Astra Zeneca and Wrigley. He also leads Interbrand’s global automotive practice and prior to his current role was the Global Brand Engineer in Omnicom’s Nissan United team leading strategy across the entire ecosystem of Nissan agencies across the world.
Prior to Interbrand he was the Founding Partner in a strategic research firm leading global projects for ABInBev, Kellogg’s, Pepsi and Reckitt Benckiser. He spent the bulk of his career in the advertising business at McCann Erickson where he was EVP and Worldwide Account Director on two of the agencies largest clients and early in his career was CEO of their advertising agencies in Indonesia and Malaysia and Regional President for McCann Africa.
Daniel spent three years working in the Gulf during his time at McCann where he was Regional Media Director for the FP7 Network of 17 offices. He travelled extensively across the region and spent a substantial amount of time in the working in the UAE on a variety of clients from Gillette and Coca-Cola to Land Rover and Gulf Air.
He has lived in New York for eight years and is married with three sons.
